There we stood, for opening ceremony. The four of us, we got looks and questions... "Where's your troop?"

"What troop?" We just questioned back and received laughter in return.

We packed up and were on the road, in Stephen's Car. We were all very excited, well... all... Specified, Andrea, Johann Visser, Stephen and myself. We were jumpy and excitedly chatted the whole drive through to Hawequas.

Looking out the window, letting your thoughts run through your head and letting the beauty of nature consume you. Pure Bliss.

We arrived at Hawequas on Saturday afternoon for a pre camp, chilled vibes with the other Pinelands troops and whoever else was there.

We set up campsite, built ourselves a nice fire and got settled down, meeting new people and building new friendships. Again.

Chilled vibes throughout the whole Saturday.

Sunday arrives and we have no Staves nor Ropes for the competition and nobody else shows up.

LETS DO THIS.

We simply put ourselves into the mindset.

We did it, we raced and chased and ran and walked, cried and laughed and screamed and shared memories. We made this an experience, an unforgettable one.

I cannot even begin to describe the memories and moments we had.

The three others would understand, damn guys! What an amazing experience.

BEST NEWS YET?!

OUR FOUR MAN TROOP DID NOT COME LAST.

Never give up, strive for the best and encourage everyone around you.
