Hi
I just happened to come across your website. Being an ex-scout at 7th Green & Sea Point, I decide to have a look and was most impressed. I also saw with surprise a few guys who I knew but did not know they were scouts i.e. Simon Sutton, Neville Curtayne, Malcolm Brettenny. I attended DHS and Primary but did not know there was a cub / scout movement closer. I lived in Sea Point but went to Durbanville boarding school. Keep up the good work. Great website.

Wonderful to see 1st Durbanville still leading the way.
I was an ASM with Buzz Macey and Ernie Penrose when Roelof de Haan was still a Scout!
i.e. around 1970 to 1973
Keep the web site up and going chaps.
1st Durbanville always a winning team.

So glad to see that scouting has remained the foundation that so many draw on and attribute their lifes successes to. Joined 1st Muizenberg in 1970 as did my 3 brothers after me. All of us agree that scouting, more than any other, had a profoundly positive effect on our lives.
My little fellow is 7 this year and will join on his birthday. Well done on a fantastic site and God bless all who work so tirelesly at giving our youngsters skills which cannot be learned anywhere else.

Greetings - I remeber 1st Durbanville from 1970 when I was making the transition from Troop Leader to A S M at 1st Kuils River and I assisted with 1st Durbanville to get away from my home troop for a while!
